PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Carson Trail is a recent graduate from Stanford University, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a minor in Data Science. His primary academic interests included media markets analysis, journalism, and economic policy analysis.
While in college, Carson spent four years as a sports broadcaster, covering athletics events for student-run KZSU 90.1 FM and ACC Network Extra. In four full years covering Stanford sports, he was twice named an honorable mention for the Jim Nantz Award, given annually to the most outstanding sports broadcaster at the collegiate level. Carson also sang a cappella with Stanford Everyday People, the university’s only vocal group dedicated to performing Hip Hop, R&B, Motown, and Soul.
While Carson is undecided on his future academic goals, he hopes to return to graduate school to pursue an MBA or JD. He brings multiple years of research experience with Stanford Institute of Economic Policy Research (SIEPR), where he modeled patterns in inherited wealth and investigated the effects of monetary policy.
